At San Miguel, we believe in educating
the whole boy. Thanks to the generosity of dedicated sponsors,
we offer 32 boys the chance to continue being "Miguel Men" during
the summer. We teach reading, writing, science, and art in the
morning. That way, students maintain those skills they have learned
throughout the year.
Afterwards, we take the boys on an
afternoon trip. They go swimming at Lincoln Woods, Scarborough
Beach, and Pulaski State Park. They go fishing at Roger Williams
Park and at Gilbert Stuart's birthplace. They learn about planets at
the Roger Williams Observatory, and animals at the Roger Williams
Zoo. The list goes on and on.
